Participation of the Court of Audit Aruba in a seminar on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Suriname
As chair of CAROSAI, SAI Aruba participated in a high-level seminar with the theme “Supreme Audit Institutions and Good Governance”. The seminar took place in Paramaribo on May 3th, 2024 in honor of the 70th anniversary of SAI Suriname.
During this memorable occasion, SAI Aruba was represented by the chairwoman of the Court of Audit Aruba, Mrs. drs. Xiomara Croes-Williams, and the Secretary General, Mrs. drs. Mary Ann de Jong-Curet.
Mrs. Croes-Williams gave a presentation during the seminar as one of the guest speakers on “Accountability and Transparency: the role of SAIs in promoting accountability and transparency”.
The seminar brought together representatives of the Dutch Kingdom’s Audit Institutions, some members of CAROSAI, INTOSAI and other relevant stakeholders. This provided a unique opportunity to share valuable insights and emphasize the importance of good governance.
